How to Find Your Referral Link
Open Motra on your iPhone
Tap You (bottom right)
Tap Rewards and Referrals
Your unique referral link is shown at the top — tap Send to send it to friends
You can also share your QR code — tap QR Code to share it with friends
Your referral link looks like: motra.com/referral/yourhandle
How Referrals Work
Share your referral link
The recipient can open the link in any browser on iPhone. They will see something like the following:
Ask the recipient to click "Download App" if Motra is not already installed
Once the recipient downloads Motra and signs up, ask them to return to the referral page in their browser and click the "Accept Offer" button
The recipient must subscribe to Motra Pro for the referral to take effect
Once the referral is verified, your referral count will increase and bring you closer to unlocking rewards
Important: The recipient must be a new Motra user — they can't have had a previous subscription or already redeemed another referral code.
Pending vs Accepted Referrals
After the recipient signs up using your referral link, the referral will appear as Pending in your account. A pending referral means the user has signed up but has not yet been verified as an active user.
Once the referred user subscribes to Motra Pro and starts using the app, their status will change from Pending to Accepted — typically within 1-2 days.
If you have Pending referrals, we recommend reaching out to that person and encouraging them to subscribe, log workouts, and explore Motra! The bar for acceptance is low — if your referral is a real person with genuine interest in using Motra, it will almost certainly be accepted within 1-2 days. Rewards are cumulative — you earn each tier as you reach it.
How to Redeem Rewards
Free Pro Months (2 and 4 referral tiers)
When you reach 2 or 4 referrals, your free months are applied automatically:
Go to You > Rewards and Referrals
Tap the Redeem button next to the unlocked reward
You'll be taken to the App Store to redeem an offer code
Follow the App Store prompts to activate your free months
Tip: If you already have an active subscription, the free months will be added to the end of your current billing period.
Merch and Lifetime Pro (8+ referral tiers)
For T-Shirts, Hoodies, Lifetime Pro, and the $10/referral program:
Go to You > Rewards and Referrals
Tap Redeem next to the unlocked reward
This opens a chat with our support team
Let us know which reward you'd like to claim, and we'll process it for you
For merch rewards, we'll ask for your shipping address and size preference.
Note: Physical rewards (T-Shirts, Hoodies) are only shipped within North America.
What Your Friends Get
When someone uses your referral link or code:
They get a 2 months free of Motra Pro (if they haven't tried it before)
The referral is applied automatically when they sign up through your link
Checking Your Progress
Go to You > Rewards and Referrals to see:
Your current referral count
Which reward tiers you've unlocked
Which rewards are still available
Your referral link to share
The Affiliate Program
Once you reach 15 referrals, you qualify for the Motra Affiliate Program:
Earn $10 for every new referral going forward
Contact us through the app to get set up
Payments are processed periodically
FAQ
"My referral didn't count"
For a referral to count, your friend must:
Be a new Motra user (no previous subscription)
Subscribe to Motra Pro
Use your referral link
If they already had a Motra account or previously subscribed, the referral won't be counted. See our Referral Troubleshooting guide for more details.
"My referral is still pending"
Pending referrals typically convert to Accepted within 1-2 days once the referred user subscribes to Pro and starts using the app. If a referral stays pending longer than expected, reach out to the person you referred and encourage them to subscribe and log a workout.
"Can I redeem multiple invitation codes?"
No, each account can only redeem one invitation code. If you've already redeemed a free 2-month trial from someone else's referral, you cannot redeem another.
"I can't find my referral link"
Go to You > Rewards and Referrals. If you don't see this option, make sure your app is updated to the latest version.
"Can I refer myself?"
No — the referral system checks for this, and self-referrals are not counted.
"Do referrals expire?"
No, your referral count doesn't expire. You can accumulate referrals over time.
"Does Motra ship physical rewards globally?"
No, physical rewards (T-Shirts and Hoodies) are only shipped within North America.
