Warm-Up (WU) and Cool Down (CD) Sets

Proper warm-ups can help reduce muscle soreness and minimize the risk of injury. Cooling down allows your heart rate and blood pressure to gradually return to their pre-exercise levels, promoting better recovery.

Warm-up sets are an essential part of any workout routine, allowing you to prepare your muscles for the exercises ahead. Adding warm-up sets in the Motra app ensures a safer and more effective workout.

On Motra, you can add multiple Warm-Up (WU) and Cool-Down (CD) sets at the start and end of each exercise.

To add a warm-up set, navigate to your workout session, tap on the set number, and select the 'Warm-up' option from the available set types.

To switch a set's type:

  1. On the Motra mobile app, expand any exercise.

  2. Tap on the set count "1, 2, 3..." to toggle between WU (warm-up), regular set, and CD (cool-down set).

  3. To specifically mark a set as a warm-up, select the 'Warm-up' option when toggling through the set types.
