There are several ways to customize your workouts to better suit your needs. These settings will be saved and automatically applied to all future workout generation requests.
Add Specific Requests
You can provide specific instructions or preferences for your workout. For instance, if you'd like to focus on push exercises, simply include that in your request. These instructions will only apply to the current workout session and help personalize your routine.
Exercise Variety
You can tailor your workout experience by choosing how exercises are suggested:
Familiar: Focus on exercises you’ve done frequently, ensuring confidence and consistency in your routine.
Some New: Strike a balance with a mix of familiar exercises and new movements, keeping your workouts engaging and effective.
Mostly New: Explore a variety of new exercises recommended by Motra, designed to challenge you and help you reach your fitness goals.
Excluded Exercises
You have the option to exclude specific exercises from your workout plan, tailoring your routine to match your preferences or avoid particular movements.
How to Exclude Exercises from Auto-Generated Workouts
Step 1: Accessing Advanced Settings
Navigate to the workout generation screen in the Motra Inc app.
Tap on the Advanced option. This will open the Advanced settings menu, where you can customize various aspects of your workout generation process.
Step 2: Using the Excluded Exercises Section
In the Advanced settings menu, locate the Excluded Exercises section.
Select the exercises you want to exclude from the auto-generated workout. This ensures that these movements will not appear in the generated workout.
Step 3: Generating the Workout
After setting your exclusions, return to the workout generation screen.
Tap the Generate Workout button. The app will create a workout plan that excludes the exercises you selected.
Additional Notes
If you are generating a workout directly from the workout screen, you can still access the Advanced settings by tapping on the Advanced option. This allows you to adjust the excluded exercises before generating the workout.
Saved Instructions
You can save specific instructions for Motra to consider when generating workouts. For example, you could note, “I don’t like doing overhead barbell movements,” and this will be taken into account for future workouts.
Fitness Profile Settings
You can update your goals and experience level at any time, as well as specify any injuries or areas to avoid, to ensure your workouts are always aligned with your current needs.
