Managing Your Motra Subscription

Everything you need to know about your Motra Pro subscription — how to view your plan, switch between plans, and manage your billing.

Subscription Plans

Motra offers two subscription plans:

What You Get

Motra Free

Basic workout tracking, limited templates, standard exercise detection

Motra Pro

470+ auto-detected exercises with 3x accuracy, AI-generated workouts, auto-progression, unlimited templates, custom exercises, advanced stats

Pro is available as a Monthly or Annual subscription. The annual plan offers significant savings compared to monthly. Prices may vary by region.

Both plans include a free trial — you can cancel any time during the trial and you won't be charged.

Viewing Your Current Plan

  1. Open Motra on your iPhone

  2. Tap Settings (gear icon)

  3. Tap Your Subscription (near the top, under your email)

If you're a Pro subscriber, you'll see:

  • Motra Pro Athlete header with your member-since date

  • Your current plan (Monthly or Annual)

  • Your next renewal date (or expiry date if cancelled)

  • Account & Billing link

  • Cancel Subscription button

Managing Your Billing

Motra subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Motra does not handle payments directly — Apple manages all billing, charges, and receipts.

To view your billing details or payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Your Subscription in Motra

  2. Tap Account & Billing

  3. This opens Apple's subscription management screen where you can see your payment method, renewal date, and billing history

Alternatively, on your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions

  2. Find Motra in the list

  3. Tap to view billing details

Switching Plans (Monthly to Annual or Vice Versa)

To change between monthly and annual:

  1. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone

  2. Tap Motra

  3. Select a different plan option

  4. Confirm the change

The switch takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you won't be double-charged.

Restoring a Previous Purchase

If you reinstalled Motra or got a new phone and your Pro subscription isn't showing:

  1. Open Motra and go to Settings > Your Subscription

  2. Tap Restore Purchases

  3. You'll see a confirmation: "If you have an active subscription of Motra Pro, the purchase has been restored."

You can also restore from the upgrade screen — tap Restore Purchase at the bottom of the paywall.

Family Sharing

Motra Pro subscriptions do not currently support Family Sharing. Each family member needs their own subscription to access Pro features.
